The creation of the Revolving Fund in 2017 changed the status of the Airport from a funded line item within the GNWT Department of Infrastructure to a GNWT self-sustaining entity.  All funds generated at the Airport stay and are reinvested in YZF, enabling it to operate like a business and support growth opportunities.
