Yellowknife Airport (YZF) ensures a streamlined process to help passengers recover lost or misplaced items. Whether your item was left onboard a flight, within the terminal, or in the parking area, find the necessary steps to locate and retrieve your property efficiently.

Items left on a flight 

Travellers must contact their airline directly for information or assistance related to missing items left onboard the aircraft or other lost, delayed, or damaged baggage. The missing item will remain in the airline's care of the airline until arrangements are made to retrieve the item. 

Items left in the Airport 

Items found within YZF either the terminal or the airport parking lots, will be kept at the Security Office in Arrivals A.  

Yellowknife Airport staff will make every effort to locate the missing item. If the item is found and its ownership can be verified, you may collect the item at the Security Office in Arrivals A

Yellowknife Airport does not mail or courier lost and found items. 

If an item is not picked up within 30 days of being turned in, it will be disposed of or donated to a local charity.
